As a native of Tucson, Arizona, I have always been passionate about ensuring that students who learn differently have equitable access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Having faced my own learning challenges, I understand the importance of self-advocacy and the transformative power of inclusive education. These experiences fuel my commitment to helping others navigate their paths with confidence and dignity.
I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in K–12 Mild to Moderate Disabilities. During my time there, I was actively involved with the SALT Center, both as a student and student ambassador, supporting and representing peers with learning differences. I also served on the Access Committee for the JCC Maccabi Games, where I helped plan inclusive programming and support for teens with learning disabilities in an athletic competition.
Currently, I serve as an Instructional Specialist with Tucson Unified School District’s Transition from School to Work Program. In this role, I assist high school students in planning for life after graduation and have helped establish multiple off-campus, work-based learning partnerships that provide meaningful volunteer and vocational experiences.
I am a highly organized, dependable leader who enjoys coordinating programs and partnerships that make a tangible difference in students’ lives. I bring energy, follow-through, and a team-oriented mindset to every initiative I take on.
Beyond my professional work, I remain deeply engaged in my community through volunteer service at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Sanctuary, and the Reid Park Zoo.
I am excited to serve on the board of Diverse Ability Incorporated and to bring my lived experience, leadership skills, and passion for advocacy to support and advance its mission.
