Claire Adams (she/her) is an Autistic advocate from Tucson, Arizona. She recently graduated from Pima Community College with an Associate’s in Music (Voice Performance) and she is now attending the University of Arizona to pursue a Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Studies & Services. Claire is a peer mentor for the University of Arizona’s Project FOCUS program.
Claire is very passionate about promoting the neurodiversity movement and disability culture. She is a 2017 graduate of Arizona Youth Leadership Forum (AZYLF), and she is now the Young Adult Advisor for Diverse Ability Incorporated. She serves as a council member on Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council. Claire is an alumnus of Arizona Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ArizonaLEND) and Autism Campus Inclusion. She is involved with Center for Youth Voice Youth Choice (CYVYC) as the youth co-lead of the Arizona State Team.
