Nikki Trevizo is a dedicated teacher committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Originally pursuing a career in the medical field, she is currently working towards achieving her professional goals in that area. Nikki has a strong interest in social justice and disability rights, driven by her personal experiences. Misdiagnosed with a disability at birth, she has lived through the consequences of that misdiagnosis, which has deeply influenced her perspective on advocacy and support for individuals with disabilities.
In her free time, Nikki enjoys volunteering at the children’s hospital, where she interacts with young patients and provides support. She also finds joy and solace in nature, often spending her time outdoors to reflect and recharge. Through her work in education and her volunteer efforts, Nikki aims to inspire her students and raise awareness about the importance of understanding and respecting diverse experiences.
