Nicole Guysi is a wife and mom who works within the district her kids attend. She considers her family to be a medical family as her husband has a genetic mutation that has had him battling Melanoma for over a decade, she herself has two autoimmune diseases, their oldest has a rare genetic condition, and not to be left out, their youngest is in occupational therapy to help with his sensory needs.
Nicole seeks to understand processes better for her own family, and for the benefit of others. She is active with multiple organizations to help educate professionals that will serve families impacted by disabilities. She knows she brings a unique perspective given her background and personal experiences, but has much to learn from others and is eager to do so. Nicole loves to read, be outside, and is a dog mom. She is using her opportunities to better educate herself and help bring other families and youth voices to the table.
Nicole has a diploma in Biblical Studies from Mission Bible Institute and is a Partners in Leadership graduate. She feels privileged to work with Diverse Ability Incorporated and hopes her passion is contagious to her children in her home, and the students she gets to work with.
