Help Us Welcome Susan Voirol, MSW to the Diverse Ability Incorporated team!

Please join us in welcoming Susan Voirol to Diverse Ability Incorporated,  as our Collaboration Synergist. In this capacity, Susan  will be responsible for cultivating relationships on behalf of the organization, by  actively engaging  in collaborative outreach across Arizona and beyond. Susan will  undoubtedly be instrumental in the development, implementation, and expansion of our organizational goals. 

Susan has been enthusiastically involved with Diverse Ability Incorporated and its initiatives before its official inception. Over the years, she has supported Arizona Youth Leadership Forum (AZYLF) through volunteer participation and event marketing. In addition, she served as an Inaugural member of the  Board of Directors,  from 2016 to 2020.

Susan Voirol holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Arizona State University, and  received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, from Indiana University. Susan has enjoyed  a career  focused on youth transitioning into adulthood,  working for several years at the Arizona Department of Education as a Transition Specialist, with concentrated efforts on learning, understanding, and training on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and transition requirements. For the past five years, Susan  served as the Program Manager and Director of Employment First and Transition Initiatives at University of Arizona, Sonoran University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.  

Susan is the proud recipient of the 2019 Raising Special Kids Family First Award and 2018 Association of People Supporting Employment First, Rebecca McDonald Award.
